Langtang National Park was established in 1976 as Nepal’s first Himalayan National Park & the country’s fourth protected area. It cover an area of 660 square meter in Nuwakot, Rasuwa & Sindupalchowk districts of Central Himalayan Region. In this region there is holy lake known as Gosaikunda which is famous for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, there is saying from legends that God Shiva Lake devise Gosaikunda when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after swallowing a poison that various Hindu scriptures refer to Samudra Manthan, which is directly related to the origin of Gosaikunda .

In culture aspects, the local inhabitant of the Langtang refer to each other as ‘Langtapa‘. General people follow Tibet Buddhism & speak a Tibetan language that is closely related to the Tibetan spoken in Kyirong Southern Tibet. Langtang valley is believed to be Beyul Dagam Namgo, one of the many hidden valleys blessed by Guru Padmasmbhava, however in the state census the Langtapa are categorized as Tamang.

The park is also well known for its population of Red Panda, Himalayan Black Bear, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Thar & more than 250 species of Birds. The Langtang trek is considered as moderate level trek. This itinerary provides a comprehensive trekking experience in the Langtang Valley and includes a visit to the sacred Gosaikunda Lake. It allows for acclimatization and gradual altitude gain to reduce the risk of altitude sickness. Trekking times and distances may vary depending on your pace and specific conditions, so always be prepared and flexible during your trek.

 

Day1:Arrival at TIA & transfer to hotel,1300m/4265ft

Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, Nepal, through custom department you will come out to exit gate, our Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, Nepal, through custom department you will come out to exit gate, our along with him/her, you will get transferred to the Thamel area in the 3 Star hotel with good take care, comfortable environment, hospitality and services. After having rest for sometimes, we will call in your room for further discussion, whenever you get ready, our team will be waiting down in the hotel’s lobby, we will start our general meeting & introduction with  our team.

Day2: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi 1503m(4929ft.) 

To get to Syabru Besi from Kathmandu, we’ll take a private jeep that usually drives for long hours.
We often take some breaks for tea and lunch during trip, we mostly have gravel road, on the side we can view of Trisuli river. We travel for approximately 8-9 hours. The first experience of journey begins at jeep travelling to countryside.

Day3: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel, 2480m(8134ft.)

This is third day our trip, finally trails begins with crossing the bridge, we will be excited, trails will takes 9.7 miles/15.7 km height 977m, we will enjoy the up and down trails of route passing village, forest. So we be walking 6 hrs, we will stay overnight. at Lama Hotel.

Day4: Lama Hotel to Langtang 3430m(11250.4ft.) 

Now our body makes habit of walking trails, our mind more concern and focused, we enjoy views, we pass the small village, seeing the local people and their culture, Our trail will be up hill and down hill, gaining the height of 1050m so we will walking like 8.6 miles /14 km for 6 to 7 hrs.

Day5: Langtang  to Kyanjin Gompa 3830m (12562.4ft.)

Its already 5th day of our trek, today we will be reaching Kyanjin Gumpa which is great valley, we walk like 3hr to 4 hr to reach Kyanjin Gompa and its cover 4.1miles/6.7km. We gain height about 400m, our top point to stay for the night. In the afternoon our guide will take Kyanjin Ri at 4774m, specular view of Langtang Lirung 7227,Yubra icefall, Gangchempo 6387m, Yansa Tsenji(Dagpache)6567m, Tsergo Peak 5773m, Yala Peak 5500m. This moment you will be surprised more seeing that beauty you remains silence for while seeing the mountains, you will be lost in them. Approximately it will take 8 hours.

Day 6: Exploration to Tsergo-Ri 4984m (16347.52ft.)

Part of a range of high peaks that includes Porong Peak (7,292m) and Shishapangma Mountain (8,013m / 26,289ft), the nearby northern mountains divide Nepal from Tibet. Since a Japanese expedition team successfully ascended it for the first time in 1981, it has gained popularity as a climbing destination. One of the holiest hills in the area, Tsergo-Ri offers the greatest views of the neighboring peaks, which include Urkinmang (6,151 meters), Langshisa Ri (6,427 meters), Gang Chenpo (6387 meters), Nayakanga (5,846 meters), Langtang Lirung I (7,246 meters), Langtang Lirung II (6,581 meters), and Yala Peak (5,500 meters). Approximately it will take 7- 8 hours.

Day7: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 2480m (8134ft.)

From today we are going back, the trail will be easy because of downhill, crossing oak forest along through Langtang river side by side. We will stay overnight at Lama Hotel. Approximately it will take 5-6 hours.

Day8: Lama Hotel  to Thulo Syabru Besi 2250m (8364ft.)

Day start with ascending uphill to Rimche then descending downhill along Langtang river. We see black bear, monkey and so on if we are lucky. There is steep while coming Thulo Syabru Besi, a beautiful Tamang village. We will stay overnight there. Approximately it will take 6-7 hours.

Day9: Thulo Syabru  Besi  to Sing Gompa 3250m(10663ft.)

You can visit a Tibetan monastery at the well-known town of Sing Gompa, which is reached by this hike. There is a Buddhist monastery and a well-run cheese business in the area. Sing Gompa offers breathtaking views of the Yak Cheese plant, thrilling nature, and mountains like Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang Lirung, and other unidentified Tibetan peaks. Approximately it will take 5 to 6 hours.

Day10: Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda 4380m (14370ft.)

It takes roughly five and a half hours to trek from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4380m) via Laurebina La (3910m). After breakfast, drive slowly for two hours through a grove of rhododendron to reach Cholang Pati. You will see the Annapurna and Ganesh ranges along the route. You will stop for lunch at Lauribinayak, which is an hour’s climb uphill from Cholang Pati. You can go for a further 1.5 hours after lunch to reach the peak of Laurebina (4610m), which offers fantastic views. The remaining one-hour hike leads to Gosaikunda, which is gradually uphill.

Spend the night at a lodge (tea house) overlooking Nag Kunda Lake and Gosaikunda.

Day 11:  Gosaikunda to Ghopte 3,440 meters(11283ft.)

Starting from the northern tip of Gosaikunda Lake, the trekking trail descends through three smaller lakes and ends at Laure Binayak (4,610 m). The Langtang National Park Post at Bhera Goth (4,240 m) and Phedi (3,740 m) are reached after a difficult three-hour descent from this mountain pass, which ends at Ghopte (3,440 m), where the bamboo forest meets. Approximately it will take 6 to 7 hours.

Day 12: Ghopte to Kutumsang 2470 meters (8102ft.)

Today’s walk is enjoyable as it passes through an hour of alpine forests. You can hike uphill for an additional hour to reach Tharepati (3,597m).The trail descends to Mangeghot for a few hours from this point. There is an Army Barrack close by, and the area is pleasant with a grassy field. From this point on, the hike passes through a few woodland regions, settlements, and farm fields. Mangeghot Kutumsang settlement is a couple hours’ trek away (2,445m). Sherpa and Tamang hill tribes live in the village of Kutumsang. It takes five to six hours to hike from Ghopte Odar to Kutumsang today.

Day 13 : Kutumsang to Chisapani Danda 2195 meters (7200ft.)

It would take about 6-7 hours to walk the 2195 meters from Kutumsang to Chisapani Danda today. It’s a really nice hike. After a 3–4 hour hike, you will travel through several small rural farming villages before arriving at Pati Bhanjayang village. After a short, steep hike of a few hours, you arrive at Chisapani Danda for the night. A beautiful location at the top of the hill is called Chisapani Danda.

Day 14: Chisapani Danda to Sundarijal 1380 metres(3378ft.), drive back to Kathmandu.

On your trek to Sundarijal, you’ll pass through serene farms and woodlands. After a few hours of trekking, you will reach two stunning locations called Burlang and Chepu Bhanjyang (2,438m). You may enjoy some lovely views of the Kathmandu valley down from these ridges. Finally, you will arrive in Sundarijal after three hours of trekking. This location’s name translates to “beautiful water” in Nepalese. Many families, friends, and couples spend their weekends in Sundarijal, which is a popular tourist destination.

You will arrive at the bus stop at Sundarijal as you pass the last set of stairs. A private car will be waiting for you here. Following an hour of driving, you will return to Kathmandu.

Day 15: Kathmandu Special Tour

Depend on your choice and interest, our guide come to hotel to pick up and setout tour to  Kathmandu & Patan Durbar Squares, Boudhanath  Stupa & Pasupatinath Temple. You can change the destination of your interest. And Farwell dinner with us.

Day 16: Departure from TIA

Finally our trip is over, you joined in our family Acme Adventure Treks, we learned many things,
you take the memories, good time and sometime bad time. You write review and suggestions for us. We gona miss you.
